PROJECT KAVACH

Khushi Gupta (IB1A)

Project Kavach, in collaboration with Sanshil Foundation, aims to take a step in the direction of providing sanitation for all. The initiative procures hand made cloth masks made by unemployed village women and distributes them amongst the needy along with a bar of soap and instructional pamphlets explaining mask hygiene in simple language. The project, funded on Milaap, has collected over Rs. 60,000 and is currently packaging and distributing 1100 kits (of two masks, soap, and pamphlets). We've already distributed 600 out of these 1100 kits and also carried out a collaboration with Project Aarogya, an initiative for menstrual health awareness.

Project Kavach has been working diligently to help all those who are helpless & needy, dependent on others, especially in unprecedented times like these where millions of people around the world have been severely affected due to the pandemic.
