Samvedna is a foundation that aims to ignite the fire of chess in others, and sow the seeds of sportsmanship in people across India. We organise chess tournaments, camps and inspire talks, and from the profits gained, we teach chess to the underprivileged kids of our country. Till now we’ve organised 1 physical tournament, 8 online tournaments, 2 bootcamps and 1 inspire talk, in which approximately 500 people have participated. We have started online chess coaching for over 300 students, and before lockdown had started chess coaching in 2 Bastis of Delhi. We’ve been endorsed by Shri Kiren Rijiju ji, Shri Gautam Gambhir ji and GM Prithu Gupta. We hope to ignite this fire of chess in many more people.
